“Ancestors, are the men and women who
gave us Life, from one womb to another. They are present within us, in our
genes, in our cells, which thus contain echoes from our past family and
influence the way we perceive reality and act”.
We are the mixture of thousands of people, who lived before us, who
passed on their genes to us, learned, created and taught the following
generations.
It was them who acting well or badly, made it possible for us to be as we
are, influencing our physical appearance, our behaviour, our unconscious and
our energy. The research of my ancestors for more than 30 years, helped me to understand who I am and where I came from.It allowed me to assess what was negative in their lives so as not to make the same mistakes. It allowed me to know and honour the good they have done.
This book tells the saga of two Portuguese and also Brazilian families, from 1400, the time of the discoveries, until now a days. Families of very different origins, one that evolved from a modest fisherman who went up the pulse, managing to avenge himself and become the preponderant elements in the Nation; another of the great nobility, which gradually lost its aura. During the several generations, they traveled the world and left their footprint and in the end, the two families ended up meeting and uniting.
